Sunday Funday at Mapleside Farms

LGBTQ+ Lorain County and Plexus LGBT + Allied Chamber of Commerce invite you to an informal meet and greet at Mapleside Farms. This is a great chance to connect with other folks from the LGBTQ+ and allied communities in a casual environment. This is a family-friendly event, and children are welcome!

Arrive at 11 am and look for the rainbow flags at the picnic tables. Grab your lunch from the food trucks, enjoy a casual lunch with friends and new acquaintances, and check out the many activities on the farm!

This is a free event that is open to all. Attendees can purchase their own food and drinks at the farm, if desired. Registration is required for those wishing to take group transportation and kindly requested from those providing their own transportation for planning purposes.

TRANSPORTATION: LGBTQ+ Lorain County is committed to equity and ensuring the residents of Lorain county have access to resources. Transportation will be available for those who need it from downtown Lorain to the event and back. If you require transportation from downtown Lorain near Broadway to Mapleside Farms and back, please select the "Transportation Needed" ticket type. Transportation will be provided through a group shuttle free of charge to any resident of Lorain county. Registration is required for anyone planning to take the group shuttle.

COVID Safety - Please note that this event will be held outdoors, but those who plan to take the group shuttle for transportation will be required to wear a mask while on board. Proof of vaccination or negative Covid test within 72 hours will be required for anyone who plans to take the group shuttle (12 and over). We highly encourage only those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend this event.

We are following the current health and safety guidelines required by the state of Ohio and our host venue as well as recommendations outlined by the CDC.

By signing up for an event ticket, you acknowledge that you understand and will abide by all the health and safety procedures in place at the time of the event including mask and social distancing requirements. In addition, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and do not hold event sponsors liable for any health-related issues.

We reserve the right to deny entrance to anyone exhibiting any of the symptoms:

  • Fever (equal to or higher than 100.4°F) or chills

  • Cough − Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose
