LGBTQ+ Lorain County is pleased to offer a SafeZone Training event which will be open to the general public. The full course is 3 hours which will be split over two days - August 11-12 from 5:30-7pm.
SafeZone is an opportunity to learn about LGBTQ+ identities, gender and sexuality, and examine prejudice, assumptions, and privilege. The workshop will also give you a better awareness and understanding of the LGBTQ+ community and how to be an effective ally. It is also a safe place to ask questions and get resources for further education.
This event will be held virtually via Zoom, and attendees are expected to actively participate throughout the training. Attendees must attend both days of the training.
Cost is $10 per person.
